Welcome & Tour (5-10 minutes)
Meet our friendly Senseis and take a quick tour of our beautiful code ninjas dojo. Your child will see our gaming stations, meet other young ninjas, and feel the exciting energy of kids creating amazing projects. We'll answer any questions you have and make sure your child feels comfortable and ready to start.

Build Their First Game (30-35 minutes)
Your child will work with a Code Ninjas Sensei to build their very first video game using our kid-friendly game development coding platform. They'll learn the basics of game design, bring their ideas to life, and experience the thrill of seeing their code actually work. Our Senseis guide them step-by-step, celebrating every small win along the way!

The Big Demo (5-10 minutes)
This is the moment parents love most! Your child will proudly demonstrate the game they built to YOU in our lobby. You'll see their face light up with pride and confidence. It's an incredible feeling watching them present something they created from scratch.

Quick Setup & Enrollment (10-15 minutes)
While your child's excitement is at its peak, we'll guide you through our simple enrollment process. We'll help you download and set up the parent app so you can schedule and manage their weekly appointments, and stay connected to their coding journey. If you're ready to continue, most families complete enrollment right then and there!

Questions Parents Often Ask
Is there a cost for the first session?
The first session is completely complimentary — it's your child's introduction to the exciting world of Code Ninjas! There's no charge. We simply want your child to experience the magic of creating their first video game and for you to see why families in Tracy choose Code Ninjas.
Do we need to bring anything?
Just bring your child and their curiosity! We provide all computers, materials, and everything needed for the session. No prior coding experience is required — our Senseis work with complete beginners every day. If you'd like to enroll afterward, bringing a form of payment (credit card) will make the process easier.
How long is the visit?
Plan for about 45-60 minutes total. This includes a brief welcome and tour (5-10 min), hands-on coding time with a Sensei (30-35 min), the demo presentation (5-10 min), and if you choose to enroll, we'll help you set up everything on your Code Ninjas App before you leave (10-15 min). We respect your time and keep things moving smoothly!
What ages do you work with?
Code Ninjas Tracy welcomes kids ages 5-14. Our curriculum is designed to meet each child at their level — whether they're a complete beginner or have some coding experience. We use age-appropriate platforms and our Senseis are trained to adapt to different learning styles and speeds. Every child progresses at their own pace!
Can we enroll on the spot?
Yes, and most families do! After seeing how engaged and excited their child becomes, parents often choose to enroll right away. We make the process incredibly simple — we'll help you choose the best program option for your child, set up your parent app, and answer any questions. Your child can often start their next session within days!
What if my child is shy or nervous?
Our Senseis are experts at making kids feel comfortable and confident. We keep things fun, pressure-free, and move at your child's pace. Many of our most enthusiastic students started out feeling nervous! By the end of the session, they're usually so proud of what they've created that any initial nervousness melts away. We've got this! 😊
